Riverside Vocational, Trade and Technical Schools

With nearly 314,000 residents in its city limits, Riverside, Calif. is the 12th largest city in California. As the county seat of Riverside County in the high-tech corridor of Southern California, Riverside has long been known as a center for financial and professional services, including accounting, engineering, banking and brokerage. Riverside, California's economy and jobs

In 2014, a report by Arizona State University ranked Riverside the "number one city for job growth," up 4 percent from the year before. The report also called Riverside one of the "most dynamic" cities in 2013, leading all metro areas in job growth for construction, wholesale trade, warehousing and health care. The leisure and hospitality sector experienced the greatest rate of job growth from 2012-2013, and as the home for such internationally known health care centers as Kaiser Permanente and Loma Linda Medical Center, the education and health care sector has seen the most new job openings, followed by trade, transportation and utilities, according to the Riverside city website.
